Questions people ask about blonde and foils
Something else on your mind? Send a note from the contact page or ask at your consultation.
How long do foils take?
Allow about 2 hours for partial foils and 3 hours for a full head, including the toner and blow-dry. Full coverage foils and the Platinum Card can run longer, and your stylist confirms the time when you book.
Foils or balayage: which should I ask for?
Foils give a brighter, more uniform blonde from the root and suit anyone who likes to be noticeably lighter. Balayage is hand-painted through the lengths for a softer, sun-kissed result with a natural root. Many clients combine them: a few hairline foils inside a balayage. Read our guide to balayage versus foils, or let the consultation decide.
How often should I get my foils done?
Most clients rebook every 6 to 10 weeks. Every price on the menu is based on a 4 to 10 week regrowth; longer gaps may need extra product and time.
Do you do foils on grey hair?
Yes. Foils are one of the best ways to blend greys into a lived-in blonde without a hard regrowth line. Grey blending is planned at consultation so the tone and the placement suit how much grey you have.
Can I add a cut to my foils?
Yes. Choose the mini cut and blow-dry package (from $125) or the cut and blow-dry package (from $175) as your finishing package when you book.
