Your stylist works from those answers, so a lob, long layers, a blunt bob or a soft shag ends up being the shape that looks after itself between visits.

The cut and blow-dry includes a wash, the cut, and a styled finish, and short hair is from $68. Longer hair is from $90 because there's more of it to cut and dry.

Curtain bangs, fringes and face framing

Curtain bangs suit most face shapes when they're cut to sit between the cheekbone and the jaw and parted where your hair naturally falls. They're the most-requested fringe in the salon, and they grow out into face-framing layers rather than an awkward stage. A fringe trim between full cuts keeps them at the right length.

Face-framing layers do the same job for anyone who'd rather skip a fringe: they lift the cheekbones and give a lived-in blonde somewhere to show its dimension.

Men's and kids' cuts

Men's cuts are from $50, and the late nights on Tuesday and Thursday mean a cut after work is easy. Kids aged 5 to 12 are from $60, or from $70 with a wash, and the same stylist each visit helps younger children settle in. For children under 5, give the salon a call first so we can book the right stylist and time.

Blow waves and roller sets

A wash and blow wave is $60 to $110 depending on length and thickness, and a salon blow wave lasts 2 to 3 days with dry shampoo and a loose overnight braid. Roller sets give a bouncier, longer-lasting volume that holds up beautifully in photos.

Add a cut to your colour

Every foil, balayage and all-over colour service is paired with a finishing package, and 2 of those packages include a cut: the mini cut and blow-dry from $125 and the cut and blow-dry from $175. Choose one when you book and the cut happens in the same visit.
