Colour and correction
All-over colour, regrowth and colour correction in Silverdale
All-over colour is glossy, even colour for brunettes, coppers and reds, kept fresh with a regrowth retouch every 4 to 6 weeks. Colour correction is the planned route from the colour you have to the colour you want: dark to blonde, blonde back to brunette, and box dye or banding. A retouch with blow-dry is from $190, all-over colour is from $235 for short hair and from $280 for long, and every correction is quoted at a free in-salon consultation.

Questions people ask about colour and colour correction

How much does colour correction cost?
Corrections are quoted at the free consultation, because the price depends on how many visits your hair needs and how long each one takes. Most run 3 to 6 hours. You receive the full price before the appointment is booked.
How many sessions does dark to blonde take?
Usually 2 to 3, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart, with a bond treatment at each. Caramel and honey tones on dark hair are achievable in 1 visit. Box-dyed hair usually needs the longer path.
Can you fix box dye?
Yes. Box dye is one of the most common reasons clients book a correction consultation. Your stylist assesses how many applications are on the hair and where, and plans either a colour removal, a gentle lift or a re-colour over the top, depending on where you want to end up.
How long does all-over colour last?
The colour holds for 4 to 6 weeks before the regrowth shows and the ends soften. A retouch and a gloss at that point keep it looking freshly done.
Do you cover greys?
Yes, fully with all-over colour or softly with grey blending foils. The consultation decides which suits how much grey you have and how often you'd like to visit.
